Symptoms
Symptoms of Zn deficiency start on younger leaves. They become very narrow, and the internode growth is inhibited, producing a rosette-like appearance for the whole plant ('little-leaf'). Furthermore, the leaves usually show chlorotic to necrotic spots and are ruffled.
The presented picture shows growth reduction only .
Reasons
Zinc deficiency
Manganese deficiency also starts with mottled chlorosis on the leaves, but leaf shape is normal and the plant growth is not stunted.
